Goal:
The
round table was aiming to discuss participants interests in partnership
and cooperation on innovation, development and integration of smart
technological and social solutions for Smart Cities, Regions and
Islands.
The round table invited companies, universities, research organisations,
public authorities, NGOs and individual experts to present their views,
interests, achievements and plans for smart integrated solutions in the
areas of green energy, tourism, transport, environment, health,
education, safety, social cohesion and others.
It tried discuss interests and expectations in establishing partnership
and new projects for Smart Regions and Islands as Innovation Lab for
research, experimentation, validation, testing and demonstration of
smart solutions by companies, universities and NGOs. It has also tried to discuss interests and opportunities of cooperation with Nordic Labs and
organisations for new technologies and social innovation, common
platforms, new projects and conferences.
